I have an old CVA hawkins 50 cal, I am looking for info on where I can get a 54 cal barrel for it. It has a hook breach, it is a fun shooter but would like to have a 54 barrel to go with it. any help would be appricated.

Is that a 15/16" across the flats?

www.deercreekproducts.net/store (http://www.deercreekproducts.net/store) has 54cal cva hawken barrels listed. $115.00 in-the-white for the barrel/plug/drum other parts sold separate. says the 54 is 1 inch & that the 50cal can be either 15/16ths or 1 inch so it would depend on what yer 50cal diameter is.

My measuring tool says it's 1 inch. will check out deercreek, would like to find a complete barrel, would make it easer to swap out there are 3 50cal rifles and 1 58 cal in the safe now just want a 54 cal

they list all the parts to complete the barrel. probably be about 150 or 175 bucks total. sure, you could maybe find a complete used gun for that but this way you know what yer gettin' & that it's all new.

Found a thompson center hawkin in a pawn shop, looks almost new, price was so good I could not let it slip by. got my 54 cal now
