Here's 15 questions to test your grammar knowledge. It's a fun test, give it a try and see how you do.

Link deleted, seems this isn't what it's cracked up to be, and from the internet too, who woulda thought. Sorry folks!
ttp://en.what-character-are-you.com/d/en/927/index/4879.html

Here's my results, there is little doubt my high school English teacher would get a good belly laugh from this, that or maybe he was a better teacher than either of us thought.

You got 15 out of 15: You have phenomenal grammar knowledge! Those weren't even difficult for you, were they? Either you're a professional linguistic researcher at the Institute for English Language or you had a little bit of luck with a couple of your answers... We congratulate you – when it comes to English grammar you really are the best!

I think your test is a sham. I got 15 out of 15 the first time, then randomly picked answers and got 14 out of 15, and then chose the bottom answer every time and got 13 out of 15.

Hhmmm . . . Seems your right. I just took the test again and intentionally answered every question wrong, got 13/15. That sure takes the fun out of it. But hey, I beat Brad. Rick

I got 12 and that shocked me. In my family I am not well regarded for my spelling or grammar. The biggest problem is that both of my brothers married English majors. Talk about grammar Nazis......

It is well known that if I am correcting a persons grammar that there are some major problems involved.

I hated English in school, but some of it must have stayed with me. While I did not do as well as you, I did get 14 correct.

Too much water has passed under that bridge. I only picked twelve correct answers.
I didn't see a way you could determine which answers were incorrect.

Mn, this is the third time in a week someone tried to tell me something on the Internet wasn't entirely factual. I just don't buy it, everything I read online is 100 percent the truth!

Dang. I went back and changed a three of my answers and still got 12. At least I'm not alone on the bottom of the list.

13 right, couple of those were iffy the way they were presented

I failed at this in school

You've definitely got our respect! 13 out of 15 is a really, really impressive score. Your grammar skills are so good, you're probably the person that picks your friends up on their mistakes, right? We'll happily admit that this test was pretty hard and we're pretty sure that your friends can't do better – why not test them and find out?

There are probably lots of grammar quizes available, but here is a short one.
I answered one incorrectly ...

But, this one is more subtle, and covers things seen on this site every day.

MC,
I tried the first one and got ten out of ten correct. Now that I feel better, I think I'll quit while I'm ahead.

So, the question about the Oxford comma didn't put you off-balance?

Holy cow, I got 2 of 10 on the first one.

I said grammar wasn't my strong suit.

Only missed 2 on the second one. Makes me feel a bit more intelligent.

So, the question about the Oxford comma didn't put you off-balance?

Yes, it did. But somewhere back in the file cabinets of my memory, I found the answer. I think it was filed in the folder titled, "Things you'll never need to know the rest of your life."

Geez, don't make me search again to find out.

Brad,

PS Never like Oxford commas, seems redundant.
