Court rules against environmentalists seeking EPA regs for lead bullets

A federal appeals court has ruled against environmentalists who are trying to force the Environmental Protection Agency to regulate spent lead bullets and lead shot used in hunting and shooting sports.
In a decision favorable to gun enthusiasts, the U.S. District Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit said Tuesday that environmental groups have suggested no way in which EPA could regulate spent lead bullets and shot without also regulating cartridges and shells.

YA don't suppose that was 110% of the whole idea do ya? The vast majority of the eco whackos great plans have nothing to do with the environment, it's all about controlling something else. For once the court got it right.

Lead, a naturally occurring element from the earth returned to the earth and recycled by many, not readily combustible.
Plastic synthesized, often toxic when burned which it usually does easily.

Two of the judges on the panel are BHO appointees, the other is a Clinton judge. Judge shopping probably won't yield much for the enviro's on this issue.

The decision gave them pointers for the next go though: "...But this would help the environmental groups only if their petition had asked EPA for a rulemaking concerning bullets and shot sold separately..." So the the ruling told the nutballs to come back with a case complaining about lead shot and bullets MADE FOR SALE into ammunition, a technicality.

As a technicality if boolits are not SOLD but used by the maker are they then exempt from the SS-EPA regulations? Have to wait for the language of the next try by the green Nazi's.
