I just wanted to say that I bought one of these and I find it quite suitable for my needs. It is big enough to hold a full die set including a shell plate and other little bits and pieces. It can mount on the wall but it is not as strong that way and it may be better to put a support underneath it. Mine is mounted to the side of that sheet metal cabinet that I use for powder coating. I have a board mounted underneath it to support it and it's quite sturdy and strong. I have a drawer for Allen wrenches, a drawer for powder measure cylinders, a drawer for hand priming shell holders, etc. on top of plenty of storage for all my dies.

This is the one I bought awhile back. Works great for storing one off dies.

I have a bunch of these. I use them mostly for specialty dies and leave my standard dies in their boxes.

I once considered a "die rack" of some kind, I only have about 25 factory 3-die boxes, probably 90 or so total indidvidual dies counting speciality dies etc. After I considered the number and size of the rack necessary and fact that a lot of the open racks would expose the dies to more of a dust and moisture risk. I choose to just leave them oiled and in their factory stock die boxes. I did make a shelf under my bench where my die boxes stay out of sight and off the bench.

PS beautiful wood work very nice :)

Mine are in their boxes in a bigger box. My common dies are in tool heads, or readily available.

I have one of those parts drawers on my bench. I keep the odd hand tools and small parts in it and store my dies on a shelf in the original boxes.

I store the most often used die sets in their original boxes, in a couple of old metal 'large' file boxes. I screwed a 'double' to the underside of my loading bench. Keeps the most often used dies right handy.

I got a piece of 2x6 about 30 inches long and drilled holes similar to the metal green RCBS holder shown above. Sawed the base at a 20 degree angle, so it would sit nicely against the wall, on top of my reloading bench. And ran out of room! No, no pictures - my bench is a total wreck, and I would be embarrassed to show it to my chums.

Digger WOW! Thats Nice! Almost makes me wish I'd went with red instead of blue when going progressive.

What is the power of your lazer, I worked with a 2000 watt lazer trying to cut wood. Moderate success.

60 watt CO2 laser, water cooled. Cuts up to 1/2 inch okay but some woods that is not an option. Red oak which happens to be my favorite wood cuts very well on the laser. Plywood is iffy, I have done it though on birch cabinet grade.

I made a simple die rack to hold my Dillon 550B die sets:

Here are the details of the individual "pegs". I used pegs mounted (drilled holes than glued) with a short piece of PVC pipe slid over the peg to keep the decapping pins off the board mount. I line the die sets up by caliber. I keep the shell plates and pin in their original blue plastic boxes beside the die sets.

Note; The board is mounted on the rear of my loading bench within easy reach.

I got tired of my H&I Dies being stored in the original plastic blister packs in a cardboard box stored under the bench. It was a scavenger hunt every time I wanted one so a couple of scrap 2x4's and some left over pine got turned into a box. I made a couple of them, this one is for another member on the forum whereas mine only holds 8.
