Just got one in NOE Year End Sale... arrived yesterday so havent used it yet but I looks superb - I have the Brass 180grn version and it's really neat.... don't think you'll be disappointed with Al's moulds....

I use it for both 357mag and 38special. As far as the mold, it casts great. A little preheat before casting, toss the first 3 castings and away you go. All of my 38/357's love this boolit, from 750fps to 1200fps it will stack holes in paper targets and holds it's own at longer ranges.

Thanks for the repiles. Have you guys tried it in a rifle? I have a Marlin 1894C in 357 mag.

I have the mold in brass, it is a dream to pour with.

I'm curious as well - especially as to how it does when loaded at the hot end in plain base format. I've got some reservations about its narrow rear band, but am otherwise tempted.

That narrow rear band is exactly why I haven't ordered one yet. I like the weight and I want to shoot it in my carbine but it concerns me. Thanks for bringing it up, I should have said that in my original post. I am also considering the 180 gr version for the thicker base but for now I wanted to stick to the 158-160 gr territory.
