Hi, there was a different thread somewhere where I mentioned useing WC820 in my 06'

http://www.lsstuff.com/pics/misc/30-06wc820.jpg
This is 10gns WC820, CCI 300, and I think it was a lazer cast 165 seated to just touch the rifleing. The squares on the target are .4". The range was 25yds. Quickload seems to think the velocity was around 960fps. I didn't chrono any of them.

At 25yds, I can aim with the top of the thick part of the recticle and put them right on target.

FWIW

Sure, I think I'll try that.
I was mostly interested in 25yds for plinking the heads off of chickens. (read grouse while huting deer/elk)

I've used 18.8 grains of WC820 with a 30-180-SP RCBS and it holds just over an inch at 100 yards./beagle

So what rifle are you using? Scope and so on.

Ruger 1B with a 6-24X Weaver.

The 30-180-SP is the old style. Looks like a 311467. Nose first sized to .310"./beagle
