Was just reading that the new spending bill may cover this:

Bullets
When House Republican leadership held a press conference Wednesday morning, Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) could have chosen any number of elements of the omnibus to highlight. He opted for a provision preventing the Environmental Protection Agency from passing any rule “to regulate the lead content of ammunition, ammunition components, or fishing tackle under the Toxic Substances Control Act.” He said the threat of such a rule had made it so hard to buy ammo that people can’t even find it at Walmart.

Good for him, but I doubt that the current shortages have much, if anything
at all, to the possibility of EPA limits on ammo.
BUT, that doesn't mean that those pukes wouldn't get around to it eventually.
Right now the issue is the fools in some of the state legislatures, with California,
as usual where there is something stupid and counterproductive to do, leading
the way.

And Kali is leading the way. Just take a look at the Condor situation, which had spread through out the entire state. Forget the fact these birds as rare as they are, are only found in a small part of a very big state.

Toxic Substances Control Act already blocks the EPA from regulating ammunition
