Since the anti-gun push that resulted from Sandy Hook, things have really turned around.

Gotta think situations like Ferguson are also adding to the tally...

I have helped a few first time owners in the past year and have had several other non-owners ask for suggestions.

Twelve more states are next. As long as the news calls it "background checks" the sheeple will vote for it without thought or even reading it.

Bloomberg tried it in MN and got his butt handed to him. GOCRA MN packed the hearings, we outnumbered his paid supporters 20:1 or more. Couple hearings the dems got up and walked out on us because they did not want to hear all the pro gun testimony from people who saved lives by having a gun in the house or by conceal carrying.

People are starting to realize that you have exactly as much security
as you brought with you.

I worked very hard for gun rights laws in KS for a number of years, not doing
it any more, but one thing I expected (and I think it is happening) from Shall
Issue CCW laws is that a lot of folks would know someone that they know is
a good, sensible person, who carries a gun all the time and causes no problems.
I think this is a significant attitude changer, and the terrorism and mayhem at
riots seen on TV helps folks understand that they are really in charge of their
own security, and a gun is a very useful tool at times.

I think it is highly ironic that Putin is going to allow concealed carry in Russia. The Russians may end up eventually with more gun related rights than we have.
