Been living with the old lady for about 7 years so i guess its about time. She a little differnt then most. She even paid for the new FA 454 for me for a wedding present so i guess shes a keeper. I told her when we got enguaged that she was on a 10 year probation period. I guess she earned the right to skip the last 3 years as shes never once bitched about any gun or gun related purchase i did. She not only bought this gun but paid for half of one of my linebaughs a few years back for me for my birthday. She personaly could give a rats ### about guns or gun stuff but i guess its best that way anyway. First wife loved to hunt and i couldnt get out of the house without her. Got to allmost be a pain. then when we got divorced she walked out with the 4 guns i had told her were hers. I told her that to have an excuse to buy them never figuring id loose them in a divorce fight. Little advice for the young guys here. STAY AWAY from high maintanace women. those thongs look great but come with a price!!!

Congratulations Lloyd:drinks:

My wife is much like the way you describe your fiance, only mine made me wait 6 1/2 years as I was the one on probation. Fooled her good.

Been married 47 years! :drinks: A good woman is like a good gun, you never get rid of either. Only problem I have is trying to teach her to remove all those WW's in the parking lots.
Congrats Lloyd.

Best wishes for many years of happiness. She sounds perfect, doesn't care one way or another about guns but is for whatever makes you happpy. I knew I had a rare good one when I realized I didn't have to sell to be able to buy!

Congratuations to you both!

Marie enjoys shooting, and has laid claim to several of the war toys in the gun safe--and not just items we've acquired since marriage. Just a couple days ago I discussed selling the present Mini-14 to finance acquisition of an upgraded variant--not NO, but HELL NO. She has no problem at all with me reloading to keep her Mini-14, her SIG P-228, and most recently the Colt OMT 38 Special fed and clothed. Whatta peach!

Lloyd, congratulations.
I'm on wifey #2 now. I knew she was good when she bought me a new T/C Hawken for our first X-mas.
She carps every once in a while when I buy gun stuff, but is the first one to set up informal trap shoots with friends and family.
She was even supportive when I built a new wildcat rifle a couple of years ago.
And she ALWAYS buys me gun stuff for B-day, Fathers Day and X-mas.
Second time around is definetly better.:-D

Was married to my first wife for 33 years before a stroke took her. She was raise the old fasion way, "Go with your husband, and treat him right" That she did.

I met another lady a few yoears back and she and I got married 4 years ago, last Oct. She hunts with me and shoots. She has her own guns and will go and do about any hair brained thing I can think up. She's a keeper.

Good Luck and "May God Bless" ( Old ending from Red Skelton's show)

Happy Wedding Day,

TwTrees and RedFoxy

been hitched 49 years in September, gotta good 'un, never has said a word about my guns and reloading. cannot ever remember her complaining about anything, just not her nature.
most marriages today consist of three rings, engagement ring, wedding ring and suffering.

Congratulations, Lloyd. I hope you are right and she is a keeper.

Myself, 50 years single, could only find ones that wanted fast cars, expensive houses & holidays overseas.
