Do they have a physical location? I can't remember name and they don't have it on any of bulk stuff we bought last time.. They had a decent price on bulk 243 only place I've seen bulk 243 even looking online and wife just picked up my little guys xams gift from Santa. (Savage model 11youth 243). I was planning on running down and grabbing one of bulk boxes, but she's got us set up for family photos today so can't make it to valley. But, I got to be in Valley a few times this week for pre surgery stuff. Was hoping they had local address/store if local or sold some of bulk stuff at local fun store that I hadn't found yet.

I'm wondering if your talking about J&G sales...

Mi-Wall maybe?

Wasn't J&G last time we were there they were on right side as walking in maybe in, 5-6 ish boths down. By far biggest vendor. Thad the biggest ammo supply there and also lines (a lot) of people waiting to by ammo. Only one that had lines. I happen to look down and see they had bulk 243 and 6.5 Grendel (I'm building a Grendel) almost grabbed the 243 knowing we were getting one for son, but after 500 rounds of 45 to get wife better with her 1911 figured next time.
She didn't get in till late Sat (traveling for work) and did the oh, we got family pics Sunday. Geez, thanks for giving me some time this weekend to go do things, I wanted. Uggg.

Well I'm at a loss then, I never buy ammo. Mi-Wall was outside this time last year, and they do have a line. I was a vendor at the Glendale show but didn't walk around to see who had what either. That was a rather small show and if I didn't have the relatives coming here I would have been at the show this time. The Glendale show did have J&G there as well as Mi-Wall and J&G did pretty well.

Don't sell online, not sure that if it was them or not. Looks like shows then in Jan. Have to wait till then and we will limit shooting since every thing else cost a lot more. It was in late smmer this year we were there. Thanks.

did you know they make dies and stuff for a 243?
you can make your own at home, it's pretty easy.

You can make .308 WCF/7.62x51 NATO brass into 243, or 7mm-08 or a number of other cases.
biggest deal is you'll probably need to ream/thin the neck if the parent case is larger and being necked down.

If it was Mi-wall you are talking about. They have a big warehouse located in Grass Valley, CA. They sell ammo and reloading supplies at gun shows. On father's day weekend they open their warehouse to the public and that is when I buy my years supply of reloading items I need such as primers and powder and jacketed bullets. When gun show scalpers were selling primers at 50 bucks per thousand, Mi-Wall was selling the same primers at 135 bucks per 5 thousand or 27 bucks per thousand. The gun show scalpers do not like Mi-Wall because the scalpers can not sell their jacked up priced primers and powder at the gun show and they will bad mouth Mi-Wall.
