Just wanted to get some thoughts about this.
My employer happens to be my FFL and i can get most any firearms at a dealer margin and I can get the Henry rifle now and I wanted to see what the board thinks. I also may buy a Marlin CBY LTD in 44 and there is a thread for that :)
It will be one or the other,
I do currently own a Marlin RM 44mag round barrel.
Thanks

I have the Henry and have enjoyed it very much.

I have the Henry, and a similar CBY LTD Marlin. I love both; I don't believe you'd be making a poor choice in not selecting either. To my 66 year old frame, the Henry seems (note the word, I used, "seems" -- not having weighed either) significantly heavier than the Marlin. Yes, this could be a plus, recoil wise. Comparing "prettiness" is like two sports cars of different manufactures -- both gorgeous, but different in their own regards. As you have the Marlin in .44Mag -- why not go for the Henry?
BEST!

Well I responded to your other thread also. I also have a round barrel 44 mag Marlin (actually had 2, but sold one). I would rather have the cowboy as they are rare, but I think the Henry is lovely also.
