The local hospital is going to be doing some remodeling and included in the remodel is the x-ray room. I am reviewing the plans and it looks like the lead is gonna go. So far I have not seen any "salvage" provisions. As soon as I find out who the contractor is I'm gonna try make a deal. I'm sure it is probably "soft" stuff but with things as they are if the price is right I figure I better pick it up. I can use it as trading foder if nothing else. Or maybe make "tracers out of it" :mrgreen: LOL Hopefully it will be a local contractor who will be easy to work with.
Plus a non casting friend called yesterday and said he has a line on several hundred pounds of Lino. I have not used it much yet but will snap it up if I can.
