Stretched the ol' Rossi 357 out a bit and nailed a nice big fat doe at about 150 yards tonight. Neck shot put her down right where she stood!

The best part was my 3 year old daughter was with me in the blind! She didn't see the shot though as she was trying to stick her head out the side window so she could see better when I fired the shot. She was pretty excited to be with dad when he shot a deer! She had to tell mommy all about it when we got back to the house.

150 yards open sighted? Good shooting. I don't have the confidence for that.

Congrats, fresh venison is always good! Having a 3yr old in the blind must have been interesting.

Thanks. Actually she whispered the whole time we were out there. It's keeping her sitting still for more than 2 seconds that's hard!

Sorry! 13.5 grains of 2400 under a Lee 358-158 RF cast of AC COWW cruising along at 1640 fps. It knocked her down quite handily!
