I've been looking for a mid-to-light boolit to load in the marlin 336 (30-30win.)
Something I can cast up and shoot as an efficient and accurate plinker & small game getter in the 50 to 150 yard range.

I wanted a boolit with a large metplat. So in looking over the Accurate Molds catalog this boolit caught my eye. It looks like a shorter lighter variant of the classic Lyman 311440........I'm tempted to give it a try.

If you are using or have used this mold I would be interested to know how it worked for you and what loads you have for it.
Any other suggestions for flat nosed boolits in the 120-140 grain range for use in the 30-30 would be welcome as well.

Just to clarify,
The mold number should be 31-125F.
I can't seem to edit my typo in the header.

To edit the header I think that you go to the post and select the edit option, then scroll down to the "advanced" tab. You can change the header there.
