Age 88, son of the late Thomas and Mary Babincak Kuharsky.

Mr. Kuharsky owned Kuharsky Brothers Gun Store. As a gunsmith he invented scope mounts and held several patents with Bausch and Lomb. He enjoyed skeet shooting. He was a member of St. Julia Roman Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Kuharsky (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=%206391325); and three sisters, Julia Medred, Emily Hale, and Mary Bryant.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Rose Benedick Kuharsky; two daughters, Judy Nelson (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=%20130538727) of Erie, and Isla May York of Grand Prairie, Texas; a son, Paul Kuharsky Jr. (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=%208600290) of Erie; five grandchildren; and two brothers, Thomas Kuharsky (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=%205126426) of Erie and Francis Kuharsky of Eustis, Fla.

Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

I have at least one of the Brothers sight bases for a B+L scope. Great mount.
