Omega's versus the newer Savage that will han dle smokeless.
I currently have two Hawken 45 front stuffers both were bought in the late 70's early 80's and am thinking of trying one of these newer pieces.
I really like the falling block on the Omega as oposed to the bolt action system on the savage.
What I want to hear is from people who have used or own or owned one of these positives and negatives.
The Omega up here was cheaper than the Savage.

Thanks Ken. :Fire::Fire:

The Savages strong point is it can shoot smokeless powder whitch is cheaper per pound in most cases.It can also shoot black and all the subs. It also has the accra trigger.

Bad point.
Vent liner wear out. Smokeless is not legal in all states.

The Omega strong point is the life time warrenty.Cost less than a Savage also.

What I don't like.
Many have tight bores and some sabot combos need a pile driver to load.
It can only shoot black powder and the subs.Trigger guard is to small for gloved fingers. I also found the trigger heel to be sharp on the couple I handled.
many complain they won't shoot conicals. Most blame the QLA.
