IIRC he was going to drive ??? miles then take a ferry to an island to get to another ferry for a ride to the island where they were going to build their PRIMITIVE cabin-home.

It's not that bad of a drive but, the boat rides seem pretty long. Once there on POW island it's logging roads for many miles. Been there done that.
