I rather they bounced around like peacocks at the border crossing versus actually shooting at each other. One less thing to get the region hopping.

Given the obvious questionable political status of Pakistan, it is quite
unsettling that they have a substantial number of deliverable nukes.

It would seem to be only a matter of when, not if, there will eventually
be "leakage" to Islamist terrorists, who are clearly without the slightest
qualms about using whatever they may come to control.

Silly strutting and such are unimportant and if that somehow bleeds off
some of the political pressure, more's the better.

At least 55 people were killed and 120 wounded on Sunday when a suicide bomber blew himself up on the Pakistani-Indian border, police said, just after a daily ceremony when troops from both sides simultaneously lower the two nations' flags.

Just like fighting Cocks strutting around each other.Ceremonial but the underlying tension is evident. The difference between each sides spectators can be seen, the Indian side shows its freer attitude by allowing the crowd to join in,both men and women celebrating. The Pakistani side viewers are more formal and serious.Certainly one of the hotbeds of problems that pervade the world today.

Observations.... watching made my feet hurt. Reminded me of the nutcracker marching dolls in 'Babes in toyland'. People are silly worldwide. Not much to do in Pakistan?
Detroit is a border city. Maybe Detroit and Windsor can get something like this together over the fourth of July/Dominion day? Detroit P.D. vs. the O.P.P. , could be hilarious.

Quite possibly the strangest video I've seen in a long time.

I believe the U.S. has "oversight" of Pakistan's Nukes. The Pakistanis agreed to it after 9/11, and after President Bush told them he would destroy them if they did not agree to the U.S. "oversight".

Where was Osama found? Pakistan is no friend of the West and is at best playing both sides against the middle. Hopefully India takes them out, they have the capability.

When I was in Pakistan in the 1960's, The Pakistani Army still had a lot of things left over from the "British Raj" including Bagpipes. I got used to serenades from the Army base about a half mile away, just took a little getting used to.
