Made a boolit seater for my CPA with an extra Lee press and some leather and wood. Rifle sits in a cradle with barrel against wood block. Boolit is inserted into a conventional cartridge seater. Used to have to push boolit in with a hammer and dowel. Now press pushes it in far enough that the action can put it in the rest of the way. Yes, I have a vertical mill and could have made one like everyone else. But why?

When someone told me that breech seating was a great way to get accuracy I was of course a skeptic. All three guns I've tried it in have went from mediocre to "They are real and they are spectacular" Picture is four shot 3/4" at 100 yards. Standard type of seater is shown next to it. That's the one I used to hit with a hammer and dowel to insert boolits until I built the self-contained bench/breech seater.
