I have a couple of step kids that are old enough now, so that phone call could come before I'm ready for it. BTW, that is a beautiful baby!

If you are going to get old all of a sudden, a great grand daughter is the best way to do it.

You mean you didn't go to see for yourself?

She would have wrecked any plans of flying to Oregon, she was a week or a bit more early from what the docs said. Gotta plan a trip now though.

How bout a little bolt conversion into a 22 CCM wid a pink "muddy girl camo" pattern stock? You could make it a bit long in LOP, chop off a couple or 3 one inch long pcs from the butt to reattach as she grows into it....the pattern will hide the length additions well. Did similar for my 1st grand daughter only in a 22 hornet handi rifle, she still shoots it 17yrs later. Oh and congrats on the 1st great grand child, I'm struggling to fend off that occurence a bit longer.

Congrats, I'm nowhere close to being a great grandpa (oldest granddaughter is only 10) but I can tell you, I love being a grandpa.

I'm looking forward to great grands, I do have 8 kids, 8 grands (with 2 more on the way) but oldest grand is only 8. I don't know what it is like to be a great grandaddy but being a grandaddy is amazing. Most of my grands call themselves my minions.

Congrats, that is quite a thing.

I got my granddaughter a .25ACP derringer. Need to do a trigger job on it and find an IDH (Inside the Diaper Holster) for her. Can't start warning her about boys and bad people early enough. ;)

Congrats on the great-granddaughter and still being alive and kicking to see her.

I'll have to think about that, it's a bit too soon to know yet. Right now I'm having a bit of trouble wrapping my mind around that spoiled little daughter of mine is a grandma.

Don't worry Rick, you'll be able to keep up. They have motors on the wheelchairs now. I'd get some pink grips for the FA.

Congrats. My three great grandsons will be here in a few weeks for deer hunting. The youngest won't be pulling a trigger as he is only six months old, but his five and six year old brothers will with assistance.

Rick, don't know how long you've been eligible for the seniors discount, but you know now that you have to stick around at least another decade to teach this little angel gun safety and how to put meat on the table.

Big congrats to you.
