Hey all, I haven't been on and around CB for too long, reading and posting occasionally, but mainly just reading.

Let me just say 2014 has been a BUSY year for me and my new bride. Alyssa and I found out in January we were going to be expecting a baby in October, and later found out it was going to be a girl. The pregnancy was great, mama and baby were both healthy.

I proposed on the 4th of July, and we got married on August 30th. It was a pretty small wedding, with about 100 or so people, but it was great. The funniest part was on August 20th, we had been together a total of a year, on the 25th, it was our birthday;(we both share the same birthday, she is a year older), and then the 30th we got married.
We didn't get a super long honeymoon, but I got to rent a hotel suite for us in Richmond for 3 or 4 days so we got some time together.

Well Alyssa finally got full term and hadn't had the baby, so they induced her, and things went really well. At 12:17 Thursday morning, our baby girl Hannah Michelle was born. Being that I'm 6'5" and broad shouldered and my wife is 5'2" and petite, we were concerned about her size, but she was a perfect 8lb 12oz. That is awesome considering I was 10lb 4oz.

She is beautiful and we are so very happy with the way things have turned out and how God has blessed our family.

I just figured I would give y'all an update on life since I had heard a few people were asking. We've been really busy, and life is about to get even more so, but we can't wait.

-Chris

Thank you for checking in, and Thank you, and your wife for making the commitment to each other and the future. Your announcement pleases me and all the old fogeys here in a way you probably won't understand until a few years have gone by. Please continue to keep us in the loop.

Thanks guys!

monadock, we are most definitely in it for the long haul. I come from a family of divorce, and will not put my children through what I went through.

What he didn't say is that he has been in EMT school, working in a small engine repair company, and working at the firehouse. Actually Chris, you posted how busy Liss has been!
