311284 in 308

Am looking for a load for 31284 suggested by someone who has had sucess with this blt. and the short neck of the 308. Obviously, the blt. will extend into the pdr. space, so am interested in filler vs. no filler results. Thanks in advance to all who respond to this thread.

Try sizing that bullet to .301/.302 and paper patching it back to .310. I use it this way in the very short necked 300RUM and it works fine. You can use a softer alloy for better expansion. NO leading, max velocity, and great accuracy !!!!
