Was out exploring the 1000 yard shooting range, an was packing my single six 32 mag. This little guy took off and stopped about 20 yards away, so I took the shot.

This was the first kill with this gun. 4gn of unique and a 90gn cast bullet.

Dang it! I do not need another pistol in another caliber but that load looks sweet. I bet that is a blast to shoot. Congratulations and thanks for posting.

I plan on it, as soon as I get on a computer.

Nice. Those single six .32's are sweet. I have one, it's fun to shoot easy to reload.

The last thing I need is another caliber, which drives additional base plates, tool heads, dies luber-sizers, loading dies, bullet molds, gas checks, brass stash, .. and um, oh yeah .... a new gun.
My brother in law has a .32 Ruger which is sweet, but what does it really offer over a .38 special, or even a .38+P round?
Velocity? ...Maybe, maybe not
Bullet weight? definitely not.
Penetration? That depends on lots of factors, but probably not.
Slap factor & etc? Not really.
Accuracy? Nope.

Help me here, because I've been haunted by this little round ever since shooting it the first time.
I want to like it.
I am charmed, but not convinced.

Perfect trap line gun and small game-getter. 100 gr lead load vs 150 average, it is accurate with 2.5 gr powder [red dot] and @ 1050 fps with the slower powders. Compare it not to a 38 but to a 22 lr with 250% more bullet weight and the velocities of a 22 rifle from a handgun.

I said the same thing and then I bought a Single Seven in 327 Federal. Bought some 32 Mag brass today so I had something to load until I shoot up the little bit of factory ammo I have. I definitely didn't need another one especially when it requires more tooling and components.

I have a Single Six in .32 Mag with a very long barrel I need to start working with more. I like the .32s.

I always wanted Daniel dads single six in 22ccm, gotta be different you know. The 32 would make more sense though.

I have an old S&W 32 long that is a great shooter. Nickle with franzite faux stag antler [ugly] grips, fixed sights and it screams pimp gun. It is right up there with my K-38 in accuracy. If you find one consider it strongly.

The new Single Seven looks good to me. If I didn't already have a SSM I'd be all over it. Everybody needs a nice .32.

An added plus for starting with a .32 caliber handgun is that you get all sorts of new plinking boolits for your .30-.31 caliber rifles.

No enablers here....

I've had a total of four. A single six purchased in 1985, a S&W M16 that should have never left the factory, an SP101, and a Marlin Cowboy. Still have the single six and the Marlin. Fun guns and a great little caliber.

Wait wait wait. Marlin made a lever action 32 mag?

Yep, it was a nice little rifle. Don't think too many were made and if you are independently wealthy nowadays, you might be able to afford one.

They are few and far between, and SPENDY, but they made 'em. Just get the 32-20. JW

Website is very old. They show a lot that are out of production. Pony up $3,000 when one shows up on Gunbroker and it can be yours. I will warn you. You will be bidding against me. I want to modify one to 327 Federal :)

I was ransomed out of my 32 H&R Marlin last year. Nice accurate gun. Lil'gun and those RCBS 32-98 SWC were mighty impressive on the rams and other long range steel. I kind of miss it but the 32-20 fills the niche nicely.

I was glad to get mine about 7 years ago and got it for $700, it would take allot of money to get it. I love this little gun and it shoot great also with the RCBS 32-98 SWC. I have a Ruger Bisley with the fixed sights to go along with it.

I want one but not for that kind of money.

I had a real nice 94 in 25/20 I really miss, but it moved on a few months ago.
