Ok guys, i cast about 800 lee tl452-230-2r boolits in 2 batches. They were all poured into a jug after sorting except for the culls. Just out of curiousity i weighed a few culls from both batches and one batch is about 2 grains heavier than the other. Will this small amount make any noticable difference in accuracy at ranges between 15 and 30 yrds? Im thinking no but thought id ask. Thx fellas

Sounds like alloy or temp changed but I doubt you'll notice any difference. An accomplished BE or PPC competitor may notice a difference @ 50. Shoot 'em!

Txgunnut, after i spend a while putting a nice shiny coat of pc on em, i sure will decorate my range with em. Thx

As I tell people that are concerned about such variances, "Don`t worry about the difference in weight - I`ve yet to hear a B-27 target complain!"Robert

No diff in shooting. I never weigh my handgun bullets unless they are for hunting. The variation just isn't that great for shooting out to 25yds.

Weigh some good quality jacketed bullets some time. You will feel much better about your cast. :)

Think about that weight difference in % of total weight and you will be way less concerned!

I wouldn't know what to do if all of mine turned out the same weight . . .

You guys crack me up. Sooo... im just worrying about nothing. I can live with that. Just finished up more of the 45's to fill my 2 qt jug and top off my 356-120tc jug. I will just do my best to keep my alloys near the same and watch my temp. Other than that, just choot em. Thx all
