Was size/lubing some bullets this afternoon and on a whim checked the temperature of my heater which is PID controlled with the little K type probe which came with my multimeter. Little bulb looking thing on the end of it which the manual said to touch an object with. Any how it was reading within 2° of the area where my sensor for the PID is fastened. I really don't care what the temperature of my moulds are but I am curious. This might be the answer to that question. Long ago decided that infrared thermometer was not gonna be even close. And on that vein I sanded down a portion of my LAM II and painted that flat black which was a waste of time, sandpaper and paint!
