I thought it would be nice to have a mentoring program.I know its probably not likely to happen but, I need a mentor in my area close by.24541. Hehe

I know of no 'official' program, but you might be surprised who volunteers to help if your hopes and dreams are genuine.

Cast boolits is our mentoring program, ask a question get an answer, about to do something unsafe get told not to proceed. have a problem ask for help, need a helping hand you'll find that here to.

This is the best place to ask questions. That way, if someone misguides you, you have 35,000 uncles to correct the possible mistake.
I personally would not have a relative stranger set foot on my place if not business related, and I let darned few that I do know come here. Some of us are just a bit private. Hopefully you will find someone close, if you are a visual learner!
