Last week I recieved some commercially cast boolits from Glenhills Cast Bullets.
I ordered 200 each of their 425 gr. .459 gas checked and 245 gr. 245 gr. gas checked boolits. I just got around to measuring them.
I weighed a random sample of 20 boolits from each caliber.
The .45's weighed in at 447 gr., 15 of them were + or - .2 gr.
4 + or - .4 gr.
1 + or - .6 gr.
diameter was .0002 under .459
The .35's weighed in at 246 gr. 14 of them were + or - .2 gr.
5 + or - .4 gr.
1 + or - .6 gr.
diameter was .0002 under .359
What nice boolits, very consistant weights and they are offered in a variety of sized diameters at a very reasonable price.
I may just put away my molds.
