Any feedback on these guns?

I have had very poor luck getting mine to shoot well with cast and BP or cast and smokeless. I think it's the shallow rifling. Going to try PP boolits this spring. Shoots well with jacketed smokeless. (this is an original) Steve

Im considering getting one -its a new winchester 1885 hiwall w/a 28" octagon barrel. Davidsons has them. What do you think?

I have one and it does very well with smokless, much better than the 38-55 or the 40-65, but will keep working on the latter...
