A few years ago my wifes cousin was mauled pretty good by a black bear a hunter he was guiding wounded before he talked it into dieing. After it was all over the hunter that wounded it mentioned he wished he had thought to film the scrap. Chuck told him if he had of filmed it, he would have shot him, when he asked why, he told him if he had time to film, he had time to shoot. lol

That video is at least 10 years old. But it still is amazing to see how fast they can "box" with their front feet.

A year or two back, a moose was stomping an older gentleman and his elderly wife grabbed a shovel out of the back of their pickup and whipped it off of him. He was in deep snow and that played into him not being seriously hurt. Never under estimate them women.

I believe that is a clipped video, I watched the whole thing years ago. Yep, the moron covered himself in buck lure of some kind first. He wasn't killed, and did escape after having the stuffing (rightfully) kicked out of him.
