Finally getting it together. Still have a lot to sort from the move. The bldg is 24 x 24. Reloading room is 8 x 24. Didn't know I had this much stuff.118168118169118170118171118172
Still have wiring to do and put stuff in its right place. Have one more set of shelves to make by the roll-up door. Also have to get my 1/3 of the garage squared away. The wife wants her car in the garage this winter.

More than my wife knew about and some stuff I forgot I had. J-word bullets I forgot I had. Lots of Midway blems and HP's from the 80's or 90's scare before they tried to ban them. Bought them on a hunch. A box of 30 cal FN silver tips 100 count.

Hi...

Nice place for reloading.

Somebody mentioned getting organized...I know how that feels, I have a 12x12 reloading/hobby room I built in my formerly 2-car garage about 13-14 years ago.

Stuff expands to fill the available space is a proven truism.

I have benches full of primed brass in Akro bins that need to be loaded and containers of all sorts full of brass that needs to be run through the tumbler and processed. There are boxes of jacketed and cast bullets stacked every which where and the cabinets are full of primers and powders...all I really need is some time to get some reloading done. Where that time is going to come from is a complete mystery...

I am so far behind and hunting season is about to start and the holidays will soon be here...I don't see more than a day or so until the end of the year that isn't planned for work, hunting, or holiday/family activities. I am not sure where I will be able to fit in sleeping at this point.

Right now I am sitting at the computer in my den, looking art a completely disorganized chaotic mess. There are shooting bags and gun cases from the last range trip scattered around the floor, there is a MTM dry box full of empty brass and boxes of empty factory brass stacked on just about every available surface. I am so disorganized at the moment that I couldn't find myself in a full-length mirror if I was looking at it.

I am soon to leave for my oldest granddaughter's 18th birthday party and then my son and I have a plan to visit the local gunshops before we go out for dinner tonight. At some point, I need to run the tractor and cut the grass.Tomorrow, we have an all-day NFL football party scheduled at our house.

I desperately need an expert in time management to take over my schedule...either that or create a clone.

My high school science teacher told me that was a gas law but it clearly applies to "Stuff" as well :D

Boyle's law if I remember. That was 60 years ago. I am a little hazy.

First things first.

Get some insulation and heat in there before winter hits or all of next summer will be spent removing the rust off of everything.

Keep on expanding as a car is not 16' wide.:bigsmyl2:

Looks very well done.

I just finished a 12x12 and know how much work it is.

"Stuff" will always expand to the available space, plus ten percent.

That is why single sailors always had to throw or give away stuff at the end of shore tours, no space to keep it on board the new ship.

Actually it is pretty dry in there. Cadet heater has to be wired just like the rest of the shop. I have everything except the 6-3 wire and 2 ground rods. Have to build a trellis between the house and the shop to support the conduit. Waiting on the permit. I have it 80% wired already. Roughed in.
