This would be my first attempt at casting so I was thinking about purchasing this mold. What do you guys think ? Can anyone tell me if they drop at 358 or 359 ? Would like to tumble those in the 45/45/10 mix and load without resizing if all possible....

Can you guys also recommend a 358 mold good for beginners ?

Mine drops at .358 with 50/50 pb/coww at 125gr. Great bullet!

Mine drops at .358 also. I normally just tumble lube and load them. They feed well and shoot accurately.

For a .358 mold, I am assuming you want to cast lube and load as well, any of the tumble lube molds from Lee should work quite well in a 38/357 mag. I have good luck with the ones I tried.
If you are thinking of using them in your 9mm, the 358-125-rf feeds and shoot well also in both 9mm and 38.357.

I also have the double cavity version and it drops them closer to .356. 50-50 clip on wheel weights and scrap lead, air cooled. I have run all mine through a .357 sizer/lubricator die and they measure .3565. It is just the right diameter, not so large that seating is a problem but large enough to hold tight in the case. After getting the dies set I can seat and lightly taper crimp in one step without shaving any lead.....I LIKE THIS ONE.
But it seems the double cavity moulds are cut closer to .356 than the 6 cavity ones

My bad...I don't have that mold I have the 120TC. But I would take the 125 2R over the TL124

I have two of six bangers in this design, they make a bunch of boolits in a hurry!

My pair drop 357ish and run throught the Star real easy.
