Has anyone used this boolit in a 250 bolt action or a 25-20 Marlin? I have the bolt and he the lever and we're looking at it to use in both.

Thanks

i have been using it in a Savage 99 250-3000 for almost a month. Bought a NOE mold with regular lube grooves.

Is Bullshop shooting that boolit?

The boolit I am shooting in that post is the original Ranch Dog. I have not seen the NOE version so don't know how they compare.
I thought I had read that the NOE version uses standard lube grooves where the RD uses tumble type lube grooves but I am not sure.

JeffinNZ I read the post and I believe he is using a tumble lube style Ranch Dog Mold. NOE mold shows standard groves and I think 451 has it for his Savage. I've never seen a TL model and have no idea where to purchase one.

The Ranch Dog mold I am using is a tumble lube or micro groove type but I do not tumble lube them. I lube them like I do all others in a lube/size press. My lube/size die produces a boolit diameter of .260" to .2605" depending on the spring back of the alloy used and or the diameter of the boolits as they drop from a mold. I have all the Ranch Dog molds and all drop well on the high side of standard diameter for caliber.
