Took my 10 year old daughter on some serious squirrel hunting this weekend. Her shooting as always was good she only missed once! Her weapons handling and muzzle awareness was great, she opted not to take a few shots that she said she wasn't comfortable with! Then we went past the old dump and I asked if she wanted to shoot Rats and chipmunks. She asked if we were going to eat them, I said no then she asked if they were hurting anything living in the dump. I said no she said she'd rather shoot bottles and cans cause she could use the practice and didn't want to shoot anything we couldn't eat. WOW!

She was using a 10/22 that we built together to her specs. Stock short end Tigger polished front barrel band removed and a little wood of the barrel channel removed and a pink tiger stripe camp paint job on the stock and a nice gun metal.powder coating on metal and a nice Red dot scope. Building it with her is one of my finest memories.

She knows right from wrong knows the Word of God, has a respect for life and the ability to be violent if ever needed. She is great with her little brother and doing good in school. She is the sum total of everything I've ever worked for and why I chose as a young man to defend this country.

You are to be commended for your efforts with your daughter!

All fathers should work thusly with their daughters like you have.

My wife's father is a great man but one thing my wife wishes is that he would have worked with her and her sisters and gun training.

My wife is a gun person now and very 2A but she would have rather began at a younger age.

By the time we met she was well on her way but that was during her "40's"

Best regards

Those are the times you will look back at in 10, 20, 30 years. They will bring a smile to your face, and warmth in your heart. God Bless you sir. Well done.
