I thought I had a problem with my new Lee mold being undersized, then I realized they are actually out of round. Idk if you can see it in the picture but it appears the mold is not closing correctly. The left block sits back farther towards the handles than the right does. Any suggestions about fixing this?

Can you manually align the halves using your hands?

I see now what the problem is. One of the alignment pins is off. Crappy picture but one of the pins doesn't stick out as far as the other.

Idk if I can/should mess with it. I'm sure that if I screw it up, I'll have zero recourse.

Did you lube it correctly?

Sorry for your luck, who did you purchase them from? They may have a return policy, if not and I were you I would send back to Lee on my own. Them twenty dollar blocks are a throw of the dice, spin of the wheel, a row of those special numbers. Did I get all you Lee lovers up out of the bushes yet?

I lubed it per Lee instructions with permatex anti seize. I purchased it from titan reloading. I'll call them in the morning.

That is what I use to lube my Lee molds. Titan has good service so they will take care of you.

ive had that happen plenty of times
drive the pin side back out to where it should be
the peen some of the aluminum from around the pin hole in behind the pin with a pointy punch
make sure to be careful how you clamp the blocks while doing this
i havent had the hole side shift just the pin side
on a number of tools
the fix works a treat and takes just a couple minutes
