I was smelting some WW today that I got from one of the larger chain stores. I came across several WW that had the marking "Fe" on them. I first noticed them when a couple floated to the top after all the others had melted. I was just wondering if some one could tell me what those markings mean and the metal conent? I am guess steel but I am not sure. After looking at them I noticed that the clip was mounted a little different. I kind of looked like the ones that are rivitted on, but it didn't have the rivits. Thanks in advance.

Fe is the chemical symbol for Iron. Check with a magnet.
