Well, despite numerous chances to redeem himself it appears Mr Medic has no intentions of returning the large hammer mold, ever. He even went so far as to return my call to lie to me about their status.

He will forevermore be considered a deadbeat bum.

I hope he enjoys the mold.

Dayammn... that is dirty rotten. Who is the owner of the hammer mold anyway?

This forum *was* the owner, it was donated by KCSO.

Does anybody have a drawing of the hammer head, or a picture of one? Perhapps with a little info, I may be able to make another mold.

We are working with Red River Rick on replacing the stolen one, your offer is appreciated though!

Why not send him a certified letter telling him to either return the mold or face theft charges? If he doesn't, charge him with theft.

PS: his zip is for Bates City MO. 64011

Here's a better idea. Bates City only has a pop of 245 so it might not have a police department. I couldn't find the number. But it's in Lafayette County.

Lafayette County - Sheriff
Lexington, MO 64067
(660) 259-3392

Tell the dispatcher to send a deputy out to talk with the guy and save a theft charge.

I just now sent an email to the Sheriff explaining the situation, maybe they will reply.

71.158.230.222 is his IP address.

I sent a email to his local sheriff and have not as yet received any reply. Maybe someone that lives in NW MO can make a phone call to them and get a response.
A theft charge from someone on the other side of the country seems to be a low priority for them.

He didn't say anything, he just quit posting. For all we know he died.

Before we go much further, maybe we should find out what has happened. If he's sick or dead, we'll look pretty foolish.

Its my nature to look foolish.

he has it and is going to keep it and the rest can kiss his butt.

That is closest to the facts, he had promised several times it was "in the mail" but the next time we were in contact he had another excuse as to why it had not been shipped yet.

I did not post this callout until he broke contact. He flat out is a thief.

even if no action is taken the thread will forever be a sticky here,,as with all proven deadbeats.

Someone always has to screw up a good thing. I've never seen a lead hammer mould, but would get on the list and make a couple for my shop just to have when you might need it. Did this mould ever get returned?

Nope,, it never returned.

Ace Medic is a different guy completely,, lets not get the two confused.

Medic44 to my knowledge was a emt type / ambulance driver.

Folks, I don't know this guy and have never had any direct dealings with him, but after reading some of these comments I would like to issue a word of caution. Be careful about what you say or who you contact. Going to other websites and publishing warnings about this guy proactively might not be a very good idea. Posting an article in a local newspaper might not be a good idea. If it could be construed to be with malicious intent, you could be looking at lawsuits for harassment, defamation of character, slander, etc. I would hate for anybody on this great site to get into legal trouble over something like this. I don't think anybody here wants to be viewed as a lynchmob just out to extract revenge. I agree that we just want to be treated with honestly and honorably, but please keep that in mind whenever you want to do something against/about somebody that has wronged you (us).

Making the message here a sticky is a good idea. It warns people that would have a legitimate chance of dealing with a less than honorable individual. That is a lot different than posting it in a newspaper. Banning the individual from participation in the site is also a good idea because it helps prevent further "advantage taking". We don't need to stoop to the levels of the low-lifes just to get our "pound of flesh".

Just my .02 worth on this subject. Your opinions may vary, that is OK.
