To borrow a phrase from John Kennedy. I noticed last night my post count was 9,999 so this is just to say good morning and roll the counter over to 10K. No particular accomplishment, but I thought I should do something to commemorate the event.

It has taken 9 years, but it could all be condensed down the five or six pages. The same questions/issues come up over and over again, so there is tremendous amount of redundancy in those 10K posts.

These days I limit myself to topics of special interest to me. I let others tow the new folks off high center, unless I think there is something they missed and the fellow needs a fresh perspective to get off high center.

It's not the post count that matters, it's the signal to noise ratio. You have been more than carrying your weight in that regard.

The problem the forum is that the noise has been increasing even faster than the membership. The worthwhile signals become harder to find.
