Ok, I'm still lost.I must be sloooow or sumpin.
I have a 1965 MFG. ruger single six, 3 screw,W/black eagle grips,& XR3-RED frame.

Are there any current guns that have the same grips? Vaquero? Most of what I have has the Dragoon and Bisley frames so I cant try any on.

Any of the "New Model" Single Six, Blackhawk, Vaquero, except the Bisley model, will fit your frame. The early XR3 frame and grips were smaller. They also made a 32 H&R mag Vaq. with a shortened frame. Those grips wouldn't fit your frame.
I have the same gun as you and have changed grips with my other Roogers with no problem.
