Welcome! I recommend the search function :). And there is an excellent thread just a bit titled "Speaking truth to newbies" as well as a sticky titled "Why some new members will do better than others." Other than that, enjoy and welcome to the glorious time sink that is Cast Boolits. Likely the best forum on the net. If you don't learn something here, you aren't willing to be taught! Trust me. I am new too and in six months I feel like I have taken a college course in Boolits.

welcome dclark2009. Glad to have you stop by for a visit. Hopefully you will find as so many of us have that this place is the best shootin forum on the internet. Ofcourse I am just a mite biased. But don't take my word for it. If you stick around a while I am sure you will agree. You will note several subject lines that deal with all manner of things related to this hobby. Settle in on those that you enjoy most and read the stickies that will give you a leg up on things related to that section. I try to read the individual posts that I think might hold particular interest to me. For example one of the sections had some good discussion on fluxing the lead melt with sawdust. I have tried that in the past but without satisfaction. I read through the section and got a few pointers that will help me next casting session. Its all here to enjoy and learn from.
