After a ton of credit card activity and a lot of reading on this forum I took the plunge and made some boolits. Thanks to you all for making the first time successful.

Cut for GC, but no gc, what up?

Might be like me, I shoot GC bullets without the check most times.

I didn't realize it was the GC mould when I bought it. Based on what I've read on this forum, I thought it was ok to use without the GC.

Very good for your first time. Now fire up that thing and make a mess of em' the next go round.

you can always have the GC slot removed, make it into a plain base and gain a few grains of weight

I bought a mold like this from someone on the board
<----- that one

It shoots like a house a fire out of my long barrel single shot

Excellent job. And a little more knowledge on GC bullets for me. Thanks everyone for the lesson.

be aware that you can shoot G/C boolits without the G/C's however you may be doing so at reduced velocity's.
I can shoot my 410610's in my 41 mag without them, but it requires me to keep the velocity's down to about 800 fps to keep the accuracy too.

Don't worry about the credit card charges. You will be saving so much money casting Boolits you won't know what to do with it all. At least that is what we tell ourselves....
