I just refinished stocks on 2 guns this week, had nothing to do. I showed them in every where I am a member of why not here.[smilie=1:

I refinished a savage 110E 30-06 and a T/C new englander

Good job. I finish 100+ stocks a year, and generally, they take me 16-20 days, to get all the pores filled, and hand rubbed to exhibition quality. The more you take your time, the better they will look. If any of you are at the SHOT show this weekend, stop by the Serengeti booth, and say howdy to our reps.

next time I do one, I am going to take more time, and get all the fillers I need, each took me 2 days, but the ML needs some stock repair that I did not do. so that one is still work in progress. got 3 holes to fill, I like the stain so, when I got to fix all that I am going to do in that stain again.

I really like how the bolt action came out.

Good Heavens Ric,
I took a looksy at the Serengeti website and was amazed. Very nice pieces indeed! Way above my station in life.
I like nice wood but my guns are all working guns and a scratch or dent is not a big deal.

Very nice work! I have been amazed at the results I have gotten with the "lemon meringue technique out of 2001 Gun Digest.

It'S always pleasing to see the results of a job well done. The grains and texture show exceptionally well!
