I have just gotten in from an estate I'm helping to settle a virtually perfect, apparently unused set of small single-cavity Lyman mould blocks for the #366408 245-gr. Loverin-ish plain-base six-groove bullet, a round-nose with a small (1/4" +/-) tip flat. Look it up on CASTPICS or the Three Peaks site; it looks like a scale-up of #311403, but the ogive takes off directly from the front of the top groove, without the slight leading band of the '403. Takes Top Punch #295, and seating screw #429, per the 2nd Edition "Cast Bullet Handbook" (where it is also pictured, p. 222).

This is a benefit auction for "45Nut", and I'm setting a starting price of $35, post-paid. Post bids here, with PM to me as backup; cutoff will be midnight, Board time (GMT), Saturday, February 9. Payment to go direct to Ken, and upon notification it has been received, I will mail the mould to the winner.

Are you willing to ship to Europe? Can I pay with PayPal?

verney:

I can probably ship to Europe OK; sent one to Australia a few weeks back for $11.30 postage, and my wife sent one to the Netherlands; both in International Priority Mail packets. But no, I can't handle Paypal; BUT the proceeds will actually go to the Cast Boolits site - ask 45Nut or Gunload Master if either of them does Paypal

Verney:

I pay the shipping; no big deal! Helping out a couple of friends, and maintaining cordial relations with Finland, where the spark still burns brightly! (Daughter-in-law is from Turku.)

I'll bounce this on up to the top again with the reminder that this Site Benefit Auction ends tomorrow at midnight, Board time (GMT). So far, verney has the lead.

EDIT: I just realized that I forgot to mention that this offer does not include handles. If the winner doesn't have a small-block set, though, I have a spare set I can provide. Fg

OK; looks like "verney" in Finland gets the #366408 mould. Thanks to "scb", "9.3x62Al" and "armexman" for their offers that helped pump up this Benefit auction, and to "verney" for hangin' in there! Verney, look for a PM

So I made a fair deal:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=130196579741&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=003

For that price you can order a new mold from NEI or CBE for your 9.3mm.
