Do any of you know of a good mold design that would work in a CVA Optima Pro. I don't want to shoot the magnum charge with anything I push down the barrel. I don't even know if a cast boolit will work in it, it's pretty temperamental on projectiles anyway. Just looking for opinions on the matter.

Does the rifling go all the way to the muzzle? If it does, it can probably be made to shoot with the paper patched Lee 440gr. that is so popular around here.

Most optimal shoot power belt bullets very well, what they were made to shoot. They have also shot several different types of maxi ball slugs feel for me when using 2ffg blk powder.

to make the powerbelts shoot better in some guns roll them between to sharp clean flat files and knarl them up a couple of thousands. then give them a coating or two of lee alox lube. you may have to put them in with a round ball starter but it wont be hard. they grip the lands better with this method with some guns.
