Easy and delicious!
1 venison or beef roast
1/2 c. soy sauce
4 peppercorns
1 tsp. garlic powder or a couple garlic cloves
1 bay leaf
2 beef boullion cubes or 2 tsp. beef boullion
Place all of the above in crock pot or dutch oven and fill with water until roast is just covered then sprinkle on
1 tsp. ground thyme

Cook for 8-10 hours on low or 200 in the oven. Serve on hard rolls or French bread and use juice as au jus.
