Acquired some C&Rs

As some of you may have seen Im selling some of my lead stash and as stated I would tell you guys why.

Earlier this year my to be father in law was diagnosed with Lymphoma, as we all know chemo isnt cheap! After several chemo sessions and lots of heartache he was told his cancer is in remission, Very good news! unfortunately a simple mistake of making a double payment on his bill set him back on bills and other things. In order for him to get back in the green he was going to sell off his rifles in an auction..... I could not let that happen. As anybody here I did what I thought was best and decided to sell some of my stash of lead in order to recover the money I spent to keep the rifles in the family. I would have offered to just give him the money but he is too much of a proud man to take money from me so we decided on him selling me the rifles.

Im very happy to say Im the proud new owner of 1 M44 Mosin nagant, 1Lee enfield mark 3, 1 lee enfield mark 4, one 6.5x55 swedish mauser, 1 spanish mauser, and a french MAS. Over all im very happy to keep the rifles in the family and something to always remember the great man my father in law is.

As always, another CB member steps to the plate and knocks one out of the park. Glad to hear that he is in remission, and that you were there to "help" him out, as he would have probably not wanted the money directly from you. The majority of members of the forum are of the same mold as you, and I am glad to see another member step up. Prayers for your FIL and your families.

+1 for this being the best site on the internet, I have said that many times and it is just proven over and over again, this is a family more than a forum. I can tell you that when I finally get my situation settled and get in a better position financially, I will be giving back as much as the Good Lord will let me, to repay all the kindness and generosity. You did a wonderful thing for your father-in-law and should be proud of yourself for stepping up and doing the right thing. Had the guns been sold at an auction they would have never been appreciated as much as your family appreciates them, because no one knows how much they mean except you and your family. We will continue to pray for your father-in-law that his cancer stays in remission and that he knows the Lord is with him and watching over him. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage, will pray that your union is blessed.
