A great day on the farm

115233115234Just got back to the house from 4 days in Daingerfield on the farm there. Had a good time and put a nice young sow in the cooler. Have been giving some thought to letting some forum members that want to pig hunt to do so for a small fee, it cost Me close to 200.00 to make the trip there and I need to be there when they hunt.

We have 30 acres that back up to Boggy creek in Morris county Tx. about 5 miles south east of Daingerfield tx. This is about 120 miles east of Dallas Tx.

We have a 20 ft container that We framed in a door and wall at the front with an air conditioner so any hunters can sleep and stay cool with no sketters bighting at night. The hunting stand is a 2 person with sliding plexaglass windows.115283115284115285

The feeders are 100 yds to one and 120yds to the one I shot this one at.

Just remember, guys; it gets cold in east Texas about twice per winter for about 45 minutes each time. I know, I live in Sulphur Springs. The mosquitoes fly in squadrons and the chiggers will cover your ankles with "itchy owies" to give you something to remember the hunt for years to come!
