I bought this revolver at a local gunshow, the seller had no story for me about the cut marks :(

I cast those today, emptied the pot...and plan to do that again tomorrow...hopefully to get near 900 or so, then I'll break out the Star and lube 'em all.

You GOTTA make up some Tim Wilson style "Uncle BS" story for those cuts.

If you don't know Uncle BS, listen to this one.

Blackhawk, .45 Colt
Custom build by a local smith. Bowen sights, CLC custom grips, rounded butt bisley grip, custom fitted cylinder and base pin, trigger job, and all the garbage Ruger stampings filed smooth.

Been really under the the weather, played a little bit and came up with a decent sepia toned piece, but it needs more work.

Speaking of sepia tones...

Dragon813gt.... did you take that picture as a black and white, or change the tones after taking a colour picture???

I like your finished look... Oh, and the 586 looks nice, too....

It was hard between Dragon813Gt's well done Sepia and SteveM's Four Horsemen photo, but I had to give the nod to Steve's. I felt the overall quality of the photo did it, but damn it was close in my opinion.
