Just remember this gentlemen. I have killed men before.

Little Ms. Kiki was rescued from a local shelter and is already part of the family.

Jeff got busted but I forgive him...this time ;)

I actually had a cat that I named Target, she was a good mouser and kept the snakes down around here. What else are you going to name a cat with a big orange dot on her forehead?

Ms. Kiki was called Cali by the shelter, but since I didn't care to have an Indian Death Goddess for a cat...I shifted it to Kiki and she has responded to it very well.

I've got 7 cats.
Last fall when mice started making their way in the house, I did two things;
1) I set out poison for the mice.
2) I cut the ration for the cats by 1/3.
No more mice, cats now hunt mice.

My 2 cats are indoor only and are my buddies. Tigger is my attack cat and more than one person has found out why I call him that(2 required stitches!), Oreo is my bed cuddler who curls up against my chest or on my pillow by my head and purrs me to sleep.

Snakes also eat mice, so what the cat was doing was removing the competition.

Personally, I don't like cats... No matter *how* you cook 'em...

only thing Yotes are good for!! Cats numbers are low, I'm lucky to see any. Snakes, are better mousers.

Cats last about 1 month at my house. Between coyotes, owls and fox kitty's don't last long.

Can't blame ya for rescuing a kitten. We don't have children, so our two rescue kittens became our kids. They are quite fun, even though I really didn't care that much for cats before we got these. They live indoors though ('too many bigger, meaner critters in my swamp to leave cats out for long.) 8-)

The Kraut Dog is named Dolly and is starting to get the lay of the land around the house. Now when I want the dogs to go outside, I yell, "Leah, Molly, Dolly and Keiki!" (The Cat goes outside as well. I swear she thinks she's a dog also...)

Girty spent the whole night fixing and waxing her pack saddle and packing it with fresh stray so Dolly will have a pleasant ride to her new home here.

Dolly will not have to put up with cat attacks here as the coyotes have removed all of them as they are constantly on patrol hunting for their favorite meal.

While I prefer dogs my disability precludes the energy to walk one, play a lot outside etc. Cats pretty much take care of themselves except for cleaning the litter box and Tigger has started to use the toilet so even that is less.

That's why you get TWO. You let one walk the other.
