Belle and the Warm Water Bottle

My theory is that Belle remembers the warm pile of puppies as being a time of comfort.

There is enough warm softness there to fill the bill.... Old retrobate never really pandered to his dogs before, but Belle seems to be quite adept at pushing his buttons....

every now and then one comes along that is a notch above.
some only get one real good one but once you do you have been blessed..

Belle does things she's already done, but in a different fashion. Today we were standing outside the house in the back yard, Belle looked up at me while she was standing there. I pushed her nose like a button, she dropped her front end down, and TORE down the path a good thirty yards, swung around the Black ***** Willow, back up past the ferns, ran past me, turned around, then back down, did the circle, went down again and back. Then she stood by the door, as it was a bit warm and humid. Then we went in.

I always have said Brittanies forced humans to develop so they could have central air. Sort of like Space: 2001.

If me and the old retrobate survive being trained by Belle, she should be a heckuva dog...
