I have found that if you are over 50 that eating a Mexican tv dinner is almost committing a VERY painful suicide!!
If I live till morning I'll never eat another.

There are lots of prepared meals I no longer can eat, must be all the pills I take.

Many prepared meals/food contain a high amount of acids to aid in preservation and storage (not to mention are usually made with GMO food along with other preservatives and additives) which throws the body off balance chemically. Usually it takes double the amount of alkali foods to offset the same quantity of acidic foods.

Just an fyi:mrgreen:

That's not food....real food doesn't come out of a box already completed.

What do you expect for $1 or $2 meal(well filler). It has no nutrition, taste wise I find them bland they need more chili so I smother them in hot sauce or salsa.. Other than mega salt they don't bother my stomach at all.

I remember eating those when I was a kid. I actually liked the tamales. That was then...... been a long time.

It'll all work out in the end. With enough Chili's it might even be painful then.

Eat ice cream for dessert. You'll need it tomorrow morning. GW

Before it got so dangerous....our favorite "suicide meal" was street tacos in Tijuana...ever wonder why the stray dog problem got to be much less in past years?...I don't drink but the street tacos might be incentive if a person were to eat there often...today the cartels and the 2 hour wait to come back across the border (sitting in the sun) takes all the excitement out of things...Ole'...I still don't have the stones to eat a $1.50 frozen TV Mexican dinner..I think the package and foil tray probably cost $1.25 so that leaves .50 for all that yummy food.
